Q: What do warranties cover?
A: Warranties cover manufacturer defects only. They do not cover airline abuse, mishandling or normal wear and tear. We are proud to sell the only two luggage brands that offer unconditional warranty. These warranties will cover any type of damage, including airline abuse. Please see our Briggs & Riley and Boyt collections for further information on these lines.
Q: If I have a problem with my bag, do I contact you or the manufacturer?
A: You should always deal directly with the manufacturer for warranty repair work. Always keep your warranty for address and telephone information. You can always e-mail us at amlugg for warranty information.
Q: Is it safe to use my credit card?
A: Absolutely. We have taken every precaution to make your transactions secure. If you prefer, we also offer you the option of submitting your order by telephone toll-free at 1-866-ALO-BAGS. All account information submitted to us is safely isolated from unauthorized Internet access.
Q: Do I pay sales tax?
A: Sales tax will only apply to residents of the US state of Ohio, but NOT to any other US state or the rest of the world.
Q: How can I pay for my order?
A: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept checks and money orders. Orders paid by check will usually not be processed until the funds have been verified. If you are sending a check, please make the check payable to American Luggage Outlet.com and send it to:

Q: What if you don't have all of my order in stock?
A: If an item is ordered and we are out of stock, it will be back-ordered automatically (domestic orders only). For international orders, we will e-mail you of the missing items to confirm the balance of your order.
Q: How do I return an order?
A: To return an item(s) you must e-mail us at amlugg for return authorization. We will issue you a return authorization number.

If the merchandise is returned within 30 days (from date of purchase) you will receive a full refund less shipping and handling charges. All merchandise must be unused in the original box with all tags.

All used items requiring repairs must be handled through the manufacturer if defective or through the transportation company if damaged.

American Luggage Outlet cannot guarantee return credit for orders that are not returned in accordance with our policy.

We will gladly exchange or refund as you choose. You will be responsible for return shipping charges. If you received your order under our free shipping program, you will be credited for the cost of your order less our actual shipping charges. Shipping charges will only be refunded if the return was due to our error.

After a return has been received, please allow 1 to 2 weeks to process. If you used a credit card for your purchase then the refund will go back to the credit card. If you paid by check or money order your refund will be mailed to you.
